eternelle  offers several courses taught  at the  studio in Jardim Paulista, Sao Paulo. .
 
 

Dry Flowers Arrangement

The courses are divided in:

1)                 Theoretic part, followed by demo of the techniques that were taught.

2)                 Practical part, where are executed  several kinds of works with dry flowers.

The course “Dry Flowers Arrangement” can be performed in the following modalities:

1.      Classes in groups – total of three classes , two hour classes once a week

2.      Private classes – a 5 hour class in which the whole course is given. This is a course indicated for people who do not have time to take several classes

During the course, the following themes will be approached:

•          How to dry and prepare plants employing several techniques, for instance: silex, glycerin,, woven, etc. Correct cropping of the flowers.

•          Ratio, harmony, forms, etc.

•         Methods for fixing the meechanicals; for instance:, wires, argil, flower foam, etc.

Topiary

Topiary is the art of give form to the green.  It started a long time ago, when gardeners gave the most varied forms (geometrical, animals, etc.) to the trees in gardens with the help of scissors.

Such idea was adopted years later to make topiary in interior design.

The basis to form a topiary is a pine tree (retinospera) has its branches wired and fixed , the work is shaped and preserved to last many years.

Do not discard it when it may show fading “spots”: since this is the proof that the work was done from live plants. Do not irrigate it, since it is already dehydrated – keep it forever…

During the course, we will teach 3 types of topiary. The first and the second ones are the basic models, and the third will be a creative one, mixing different materials and colors and different materials.

Duration of the course:  three classes each lasting about 3 hours.

At the end of the course, the student will be able to make the models taught in the classroom, besides developing other techniques and forms according to his or her own creativity.

Pressed Flowers and Decoration on Candles. 

The course “Pressed Flowers” is also offered to  in groups or to private students.

The class is tough dryness and cropping methods of material, storage and several forms of pressing, as well as material employed to perform the work..

During the practical class some works will be produced with: cards, frames, pasting, etc.

Fragrant Flowers : "Sachets" and "Pot Pourri".

This course is given in a 3 hours class where the student will practice arrangments with dry flowers, branches, leaves, spices which will be prepared to be made fragrant and lately used to make sachets, pot pourris and pomanders ( apple, orange, spices and decoration).
